The nearest store is Co-operative Food, Preston Road. Open 7am-10pm. The store is just 10 minutes drive along the main road from Upton Grange into Weymouth. Supermarkets are located close to Weymouth centre. Find supermarket locations. A Pharmacy is located on Preston Road, just to the right of the first roundabout. It is open 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm. Pharmacies are also located in Morrisons and Asda stores.

Beaches

Ringstead Beach
Is a few moments drive down a toll road (toll included in parking charge) into Ringstead Bay. Ringstead is an uncrowded, unspoiled, pebble-shingle beach with sand areas by the Kiosk Café. Popular for swimming, watersports and sea fishing.

Weymouth Esplanade
The long, shallow curving beach of golden sand is bordered by a fine Georgian Esplanade. Organised beach activities, donkey rides and entertainment all add up to a bustling family beach resort.

Overcombe & Preston
The long stretch of pebble beach between Preston and Weymouth is popular for watersports and sailing.

Leisure Activities

Golf
Golfers will appreciate a choice of two golf clubs within a short drive. Weymouth Golf Club, a 9 hole course for the enthusiast, and Came Down Golf Club.

Fishing
Sea anglers are spoiled for choice and won’t have to go any further than Ringstead Bay for good catches of wrasse, bass, rays and plaice. Weymouth’s charter vessels offer anglers deep sea fishing. Walking

There are a range of scenic cycle routes accessible in Dorset including a trail along the Jurassic Coast.

Horse Riding
Upton and Osmington are delightful to explore on horseback. A Pony Club Centre, British Horse Society Member, Rosewall Equestrian are just a few moments drive.

Public Transport

Weymouth Railway Station is approximately 8.5 miles from Upton Grange, there is a tax rank at the station. Currently there are no bus services to Upton.
