Guest reviews are assessed in six categories, location, accommodation (room quality), comfort (sleep quality), cleanliness, customer service quality and value for money. Over 70% of our guests consult TripAdvisor before choosing their holiday cottages. Not only that, guests booking holiday cottages for short-breaks often consult TripAdvisor to choose where to eat and drink before arriving.

A Visit England Tourism Inspector reviews the cottages for condition, cleanliness and facilities every year, usually without prior notice. In addition to the cottage inspections, Visit England then assess our customer service, which we are delighted to say, raises our 4 Star accommodation award to the coveted 4 Gold Star award for Upton Grange. We are working on a continuous improvement plan for the holiday cottages and estate.

Visit England M1 Accessibility Award for Foxes Cottage
Always popular with couples, Foxes Cottage has been awarded National Accessible Grade M1. The cottage boasts a brand new accessible shower room with additional fixtures to aid balance. An extra-large, low step walk-in shower is complimented by an adjustable bathroom seat and hand rails. With parking adjacent to the cottage and a wheel-chair ramp available on request, Foxes now provides guests that extra assurance to enjoy their holiday in comfort.
